Ensure nut (3) is properly secured creating a good ground. Failure to observe this

Install flat washer (4), hex nut (3), two flat washers (2), and wing nut (1).

Route ground wire (6) thru power cable sock (7).

Connect ground wire (6) to generator set ground terminal (8).

Refer to figure 4-2A and assemble as follows.

a. Remove 48 inch ground wire from accessory box and connect as follows.

Remove wing nut (1, figure 4-2A). two flat washers (2), hex nut (3), and flat washer (4) from ground stud

(5).

Ensure hex nut (3) is properly secured creating a good ground. Failure to observe this

warning could result in severe personal injury or death.

Install fiat washer (4), hex nut (3), two flat washers (2), and wing nut(1).

Route ground wire (6) thru power cable sock (7).

Connect ground wire (6) to generator set ground terminal (8).
