Is the starter solenoid voltage above 18.5 volts?

YES
If starter resistance was high in step 2, check positive battery cables
and connections to starter solenoid. Repair as necessary
If GO message occurred during Starter Circuit Resistance Test
in step 2, check switches and wiring to solenoid. If OK, replace
starter motor (WP 0091 00).
NOTE
After completing repair, rerun the GO-Chain
tests to verify that the problem is fixed and
that no other problems exist.
CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE WHILE CRANKING:

Dial 67 into TEST SELECT and press TEST.

Engage fuel shutoff switch and crank the engine and
observe the displayed voltage.
Was the battery voltage above 19 volts while cranking?
YES
NO
Check battery electrolyte level.
Clean battery terminals.
Refer to Electrical Troubleshooting (WP 0011 00) to
check battery specific gravity.
Check switches and wiring to starter
Charge battery, if necessary.
solenoid. Repair or replace as necessary
Retest.
If 19 volts or less, replace battery (WP 0122 00).
NOTE
After completing repair, rerun the GO-Chain
tests to verify that the problem is fixed and
that no other problems exist.
