CONDITION: Universal joint assembly out of truck.
Disassembly (Snapring and C-Ring Type).
This procedure is the same for both types
except where noted.
If working on snapring type, using retaining ring pliers, take out four re-
taining rings (1).
If working on C-ring type, using retaining ring pliers, take out two re-
taining rings (2).
Using 5/16-inch wrench, unscrew and take out grease fitting (3).
