TOOLS :  7/16-inch wrench
Flat-tip screwdriver
Diagonal pliers, small
Lead seal press
2-ampere automotive fuse
SUPPLIES :
Lead seal with wire
Gasket
One
PERSONNEL :
Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.
EQUIPMENT CONDITION :
NOTE
On tractor models M275A1 and M275A2, fuel tank
must be moved to gain access to in-tank fuel
pump fuse.  Refer to para 4-7.

Removal.
Take off and throw away seal
Using pliers, cut wire on metallic seal tab ( 1) .

and wire.

Using 7/16-inch wrench, unscrew four nuts ( 2) and take off nuts and four
NOTE
Some pumps use three nuts (2).
Lift terminal cover ( 4) off pump ( 5) and position as shown.

Using screwdriver, unscrew terminal screw (6) and lift off pump wire (7).
