MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Test 1. Test battery voltage at B.O.
1. B.O. HEADLAMP
drive light.
DOES NOT LIGHT
1. Place main light switch lever
in OFF position.
2. Disconnect lead 19 from B.O.
drive light.
3. Turn main light switch to B.O.
DRIVE position.
4. Check for battery voltage on
1. If battery voltage is present, go to
contact end of lead 19.
test 2.
2. If battery voltage is not present go
to WP 0013 00, table 1, malfunction
1, test 3.
Test 2. Test continuity of filament in
B.O. drive light.
Set multimeter to RX 1 scale. Check
1. If continuity is not present, replace
continuity between frame ground and
B.O. drive lamp (WP 0123 00).
lead 19 attached to rear of B.O. drive
2. If continuity is present, check for
light.
corroded contacts at lamp and at
lead 19 connection to front wiring
harness. Reconnect lead 19.
