Check that 13 floorboards (1) are not split, rolled or worn. If floorboards

are damaged, get new ones.
2.  Check that eight hold down slats (2) are not cracked, bent or dented. If
hold down slats are damaged, get new ones.
3.  Paint parts as needed. Refer to TM 43-0139.
