NOTE

Repair of battery box heater pad is limited to

putting a new battery box heater pad in place

of a damaged one.

TOOLS: Flat-tip screwdriver

1-gallon container

SUPPLIES: None

PERSONNEL: One

EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Truck parked, engine off and cool, handbrake set.

a. Preliminary Procedures.

(1) Remove batteries. Refer to Part 1, para 7-56.

(2) Open hood and right side panel. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10.

WARNING

Do not work on cooling system components

until cool. Personnel can be badly burned by

hot components.

NOTE

Make sure powerplant heater is off and cool.
