Solvent, dry cleaning, type II (SD-2), Fed. Spec P-D-680

Powdered graphite, SS-G-659A

EQUIPMENT

CONDITION:

Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.

Preliminary Procedures.

(1) Jack up and support truck. Refer to Part 1, para 11-3.

(2) Remove rear leaf spring from truck. Refer to para 17-6.

NOTE

Only the longest three leaves of spring may be

replaced. Throw away any spring that has other

leaves damaged.

Disassembly.

Using file, file off peened over ends of four screws (1).
