2-7.4 Disconnect External Fuel Source. Disconnect auxiliary fuel hose as follows:
a. Disconnect the auxiliary fuel hose (3, Figure 2-20) from the generator set external fuel supply
connector. Elevate the free end of the auxiliary fuel hose to drain fuel back into the external fuel
source. Place free end of auxiliary fuel hose on a clean surface.
b. Disconnect auxiliary fuel hose from fitting on container adapter (1).
c. Store auxiliary fuel hose in the generator set storage compartment located behind the battery access
door.
d. Store the container adapter in the accessory box.
