NOTE

Depending on the problem with the transmission, the WTEC III Transmission

Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may or may not respond to WTEC III TPSS

requests. Gear shifting capability may be limited.

CHECK TRANS indicator

Illuminates (amber) any time WTEC III

Transmission ECU detects a do not shift condition.

Notify Field Maintenance if CHECK TRANS

indicator illuminates. Also illuminates briefly when

engine is started.

PARK BRAKE indicator

Illuminates (amber) when parking brake is

applied.
