Put chain hoist (1) on intermediate case (2) as shown.

Take out 15 capscrews (3), nuts (4), and lockwashers (5).
Take off leveling worm wheel gear (6), retaining lock plate (7),

and two felts (8).
Soldiers 4.
Take off intermediate case (2) and lower it to floor.

Soldier A 5. Take off chain hoist (1).
