Put pressure relief valve (1), shims (2), and spring (3) into oil pump
pressure housing (4).
NOTE
Some oil pumps use a threaded cap to retain the parts
of the pressure relief valve. Some oil pumps use a re-
taining spring pin and spring retainer or spacer. If
a spring retainer copper spacer is used, throw the old
spacer away and get a new one. If a threaded cap is
used, do step 2. If a retaining spring pin is used, get
a new pin and do step 3.
2. Put in threaded cap (5). Skip step 3.
3. Put in spring retainer (6) or retaining copper spacer (7), and put in
retaining spring pin (8).
