NOTE
Check that first layer of cable coils are close together.
If needed, use a block of wood to hammer or push cable
coils together.
Soldier A 1.
Working in cab, start engine. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10.
Put power divider lever (1) in REAR WINCH FWD position when
soldier B is ready.
Soldier B 2.
Working in back of truck, hold tension on winch cable (2). Tell
soldier A to start winch. Wind up cable in drum (3).
Soldier A 3.
Stop engine. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10.
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance Action Required:
Replace rear winch cable chain assembly. Refer to
END OF TASK
