Using 1/2-inch wrenches, hold screws (1) on forward, center, and rear

straps (2) and tighten nuts (3) .
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance Action Required:
Join fuel lines and electrical connectors to in-tank

fuel pump. Refer to para 4-8.
2.
Reconnect battery ground cable. Refer to

Fill fuel tank. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10.
4.
Start engine and check fuel line fittings for leaks.
Stop engine. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10.
5.
Check operation of fuel gage. Refer to
TM 9-2320-209-10.
