Wheel and tire

Rotate tires (change wheel and tire assemblies from front to rear, side to side, etc.) as

assemblies

shown in following diagram. Match tires to their tread design and degree of wear.

Refer to TM 9-1870-1 for specific instructions for matching tires.

Check that tread depth of any one tire is less than 1/8-inch; or that one or more tires is not

cut to cord.

Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10 for removal and replacement procedures for wheel and tire

assemblies.
