PERFORM DCA TRANSDUCER OFFSET TESTS:

Engine must be off.
PROMPTING
Dial the offset number listed into the
MESSAGE
TEST/SELECT switches.
Press and hold TEST each time until message
CAL appears on the display.
When CAL appears, release TEST.
Compare the result on the VTM for the vehicle
being tested with the specification listed for each
DCA offset in TM 9-4910-571-12&P.
Is the transducer offset within its limit?
YES
NO
Refer to TM 9-4910-571-12&P
to troubleshoot DCA harness
connections.
Repeat offset test.
Proceed to First Peak Test
If no fault is found, notify DS
Starter Current, G02.
maintenance.
