TOOLS :  5/16-inch wrench
7/16-inch wrench
3/8-inch wrench
Cross-tip screwdriver (Phillips type)
Slip joint pliers
Container
SUPPLIES:
PERSONNEL:  One
Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.
EQUIPMENT  CONDITION:
Preliminary Procedure.
Open hood and right side panel. Refer to
TM 9-2320-209-10.

Removal.
NOTE
Set manifold heater switch to OFF position.
1.
Put container under manifold heater fuel pump (1).
2.
Using pliers, unscrew and take off electrical connector ( 2).
Using 7/16-inch wrench, unscrew coupling nut (3) and take out fuel tube (4)

from elbow (5).
Using 5/16-inch and 7/16-inch wrenches, unscrew coupling nut ( 6 ) from
4.
union (7) and take out fuel tube (8) from union.
