NOTE

Tee fitting at secondary and final filter assem-

blies on truck with LD-465 engine is used for

this typical procedure.

Open hood and left side panel. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10.

Using 5/8-inch combination box and open end wrench, unscrew and take off

tube nut ( 1). Using 9/16-inch wrench, unscrew and take off elbow (2) .

Using 9/16-inch open end wrench, hold elbow ( 3). Using 11/16-inch com-

bination box and open end box wrench, unscrew and take off hose nut (4) .

Using 9/16-inch wrench, unscrew and take off elbow (3) .

Using 10-inch pipe wrench, unscrew and take off tee fitting (5) .
