3. Pump enough fuel from one compartment to

works properly. Do this for all compart-

ments (t hree on M49A1C, two on M49A2C).

Check that there are no leaks or unusual

noise or vibrations.

4. (a) Gravity discharge fuel from one com-

partment to a clean container. Empty

enough fuel to check that gravity dis-

charge system works properly and does

not leak.

(b) Pump fuel back into compartment.

5. Close rear compartment doors (3).
